Registrations

Registrations can be made from August 1st.

Teams are required by rule to have the following number of players registered by 1st September

5v5                         5

                U17’s – u21’s maximum 24

You may use last season’s player registration card or a copy of valid passport or birth certificate.

There is a five day rule, which means that any players registrations should be received by the relevant age group Registration Administrator by the end of day on the Tuesday before the Sunday that you wish them to play.

The last day for player registration and player transfer is the last day of February.

Registration cards are available from either of the Registration Secretaries ( they are not available form the Registration Administrators).  You can arrange to collect at a convenient time or they can post them out to you on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope.  They are also available at every monthly league meeting

You must download the SD1 Player Deregistration from the Selkent Website.  Once completed, you need to send the form with the players card to the Transfer Admin Officer.  On receipt, she will notify the RA that the player is deregistered.

You should send your match card to the relevant Registration Administrator for the age group.  Details can be found on page 5 of the handbook and on this website.

No, there is no need  to complete match cards for friendlies.

Yes they do but they are permitted to sign their first name only.

Yes, match card procedure must be completed in full at every league cast match, unless the match is marked clearly as a friendly, then there is no need to complete match card procedure.

Fixtures

The season starts on the third Sunday in September and runs until the last Sunday in May.

Fixture breaks are requested by submitting an F2 form at least 21 days before the date the break is to come into effect.

Our aim is to appoint referees to all competitive U12 - U21 games.

Senior U16-U21 take priority when all games can not be covered. 

When a game has to be cancelled the referee must be informed as soon as possible by the home club also informing the league secretary and league referee secretary.

If the procedure for contacting the referee is not followed you will be liable for the full referee fee. 

The League Fixtures Secretary may order the match to be played on the opponents pitch or an alternative nominated pitch if, in his/her opinion, such action is necessary for the orderly completion of league, cup or trophy matches.

The Management Committee shall have the power to decide whether a pitch and/or facilities are suitable for matches in the league and to order the Club concerned to play its fixtures on another ground.

Any dispute relating to re-arranged games or decisions related to unplayed games will be referred to Management Committee.

These are allowed in this Competition providing they meet the required performance standards and are listed on the FA’s Register of Football Turf Pitches.

Note that the home Club is responsible for advising participants of footwear requirements when confirming match arrangements in accordance with Rule 10(D).

Under 7 & Under 8’s – Two games 10 minutes each way.

Mini-Soccer fixtures U7 & U8 will be arranged in such a way as to allow two matches to be played at the same venue on the same day against the same opposition. Matches shall be played in the order as laid down by the Fixtures Secretary on the Fixtures List. No player shall be permitted to play more than 40 minutes on the same day. Please note teams found not to be playing the above format will be charged with bringing the league into disrepute (Rule 5D)

 Under 9 & 10 - 25 minutes each way 

Only one match per day will be allowed in this section with the exception of Cup/Vase competitions whereby Rule 25(F) will apply. Matches shall be played in the order as laid down by the Fixtures Secretary on the Fixtures List. No player shall be permitted to play more than 60 minutes on the same day.

 Under 11 & Under 12 - 30 minutes each way normal time.

-10 minutes each way extra time.

Only one match per day will be allowed in this section. in the event of playing a double-header, i.e. two separate matches, no more than 80 minutes per day is permitted.

 Under 13 and 14 - 35 minutes each way normal time.

- 10 minutes each way extra time.

With the exception of double-headers, only one match per day will be allowed in this section.

 Under 15 and 16 - 40 minutes each way normal time.

- 10 minutes each way extra time.

With the exception of double-headers, only one match per day will be allowed in this section.

 Under 17 to Under 21 - 45 minutes each way normal time.

- 15 minutes each way extra time.

With the exception of double-headers, only one match per day will be allowed in this section. 

During the midwinter period (October to March) Under 15 to Under 21 teams kick off no later than 1.30pm to ensure that sufficient time is allowed to complete extra time and penalties.

Kick-off times outside these times must be mutually agreed by both teams.  Matches must commence no later than 20 minutes after the scheduled kick-off time, unless mutually agreed by both teams.

Such matches will be declared unfulfilled and persistent failure to field a full team will result in the offending team being dealt with by the Management Committee as they deem fit.

Both Club Fixture Secretaries to send an SF1 within 3 days of the cast fixture to the League Fixture Secretary.

When you award a referee a mark of 60 or below this must be marked on the match card and a detailed report is to be sent to the league referee Secretary within 7 days of the game. Failure to do so will result in a fine of £10. 

In the event of a game not being played because of circumstance over which neither team has control, the league appointed officials, if present, shall be entitled to receive reasonable travel expenses. 

Where a game is not played due to the home club being in default the league appointed match officials will be entitled to claim their full match fee.

Where a game is not played due to the away team being in default the league appointed match officials will be entitled to claim their full match fee. The responsibility of payment to the officials will reside with the home club. Requests for reimbursement can be detailed on the SF1 form.

The teams gaining the highest number of points in their respective Divisions at the conclusion shall be adjudged the winners. Matches must not be played for double points.

In the event of two or more teams being equal on points,team rankings will be decided in order of the following ways, with each criteria only being considered if the previous one fails to determine the ranking.

  1. The number of games won.
  2. The results of the matches played between those teams, but not counting goaldifference.
  3. Single play-off to be decided on penalties if the score is still level afterextra time, with the playing conditions to be determined by the Management Committee.

Teams finishing in the top two places in Divisions B, C and D will be entitled to promotion to the next highest Division for the following season. For Regional Divisions only the winners of each such Division will be entitled to promotion.

 All other placing shall be at the discretion of Management Committee who will be guided by available vacancies, expected playing strength and the preferences shown by Clubs on their application for membership forms.

Website

You will need to ask your Club Secretary to send you a new logon email. They can do that once they have logged in from the "Website Users" tab of the club details, When you receive that email, click the link in it and you can then reset your password.

If you are the Club Secretary and have forgotten your password, and if no-one else at your club can access the relevant function on the "Website Users" tab, then you will need to ask the League Secretary to send you that email.

Logins for club personnel are handled via your Club Secretary. Note that at present, only Club Secretaries and Fixture Secretaries should have accounts on this website.
