LONDON MARATHON GROUND FOR SATURDAY 24th FEBRUARY CANCELLED (posted: 23/02/24) Filed under: Archived Fixtures

The groundsman for the London Marathon Ground has informed us that the ground will not be playable on Saturday 24th February and so all the Under 9 Vase games scheduled for that date are cancelled.

These games have been recast at the same time for Saturday 2nd March.

We are still hoping that the Ground will be playable for Sunday 25th February and so at this point in time, all games scheduled for the Sunday remain on. Clubs will be informed if this situation changes.

Please be informed that the London Marathon Ground Groundsman has contacted me to say the ground is waterlogged and with more rain forecast tomorrow the decision has been made to cancel all games on Sunday 10 December.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to change one of the venues for the Shield Finals on Sunday 20th June.
The venues for the 11 A Side Shield Finals will now be held at the following Venues:-

WE HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO CANCEL ALL GAMES AT THE LONDON MARATHON SUNDAY 06th OCTOBER.

IT HAS BEEN RAINING HALF THE NIGHT AND WITH THE WEATHER FORECAST SAYING RAIN ON AND OFF ALL DAY WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CANCEL SUNDAY GAMES.

SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TRUST THE WEATHER FORECAST OF RAIN FOR 18 HOURS I DO HOPE IT IS CORRECT.
