In Memory of Mick Northwood
Who sadly lost his battle today to stay with his Family, Friends and beloved Long Lane Football Club. Mick did what only Mick knew how to do he took on the biggest battle of his life but sadly this time Mick lost.  But as Mick always said to me every cloud has a silver lining, and his silver lining is that he is now with the love of his Life his wife Tina Northwood.

To try and write about a person whose loss to his wonderful family his beloved Long Lane but also to Youth Football both Boys and Girls is immense. Mick and I go back years, so I know how he fought to make grassroots football acknowledged and respected by the F.A. I can never put into words how special Mick Northwood was and that there will never be another like him. He built Long Lane from nothing and turned it into the Club it is today.

Mick was never just about Long Lane it was about Youth Football as a whole we worked together for many years trying to ensure that Youth Football would always be about the Children. He wanted to give children the opportunity to play this wonderful game. We both recognised early on that Youth Football was never just about the restrictions put in our way it was about forming a Community that brought us together under the one banner new “Grassroots Youth Football”. He devoted over forty years for this cause and has impacted many lives on the way.

Mick we will never forget how much you did for Youth Football and your legacy will never be forgotten because you really were “SPECIAL".

Goodbye my dear friend I will miss you forever!

Transitional Football (9v9) Referee - £30.00 per match. 

Transitional Football (9v9) Assistant Referee - £30.00 per match.

Youth Football Referee (under 13 to 14) - £35.00 per match. 

Youth Football Assistant Referee (under 13 to 14) - £35.00 per match. 

Youth Football Referee (under 15 to 16) - £40.00 per match. 

Youth Football Assistant Referee (under 15 to 16) - £40.00 per match. 

Youth Football (U17 U18 & Transitional U21’s Referee - £45.00 per match 

Youth Football Assistant Referee (U17 U18 & Transitional U21’s Assistant Referee - £45.00 per match 

SIZE 3 MINI-SOCCER FOOTBALLS
It is FA Rule that Under 7 to Under 10 age bands MUST only use a Size 3 football.
